Dahabada’s beautifully idyllic property was just was needed for a weekend nature retreat! It was very quiet, even on the 4th of July. The bright yellow cabin was very clean and tidy. All the basic amenities, including a microwave for our prepared food along with a heater and AC unit, made the stay very comfortable. We used the coffee maker next to the mini fridge to make our own tea and coffee regularly.

The canyon views are absolutely gorgeous and the property was abundant with flowers, homegrown vegetables and fruit trees. We enjoyed taking a short walk up the road to the trailhead into Topanga Canyon State Park and dined alfresco for every meal at the lovely brick patio table and chairs, where we were often greeted by the adorable resident dog, Rosebud.

The outdoor bathroom/shower was really lovely in summer with plenty of hot water. The garden spaces are lit with fairy lights at night, which makes for a magical experience. Highly recommend for a peaceful stay!

I had a peaceful personal retreat with beautiful walks on the trails of Topanga State Park. The outdoor space is even more special than the spacious and colorful indoor space.

Be sure and see a play or two at Theatricum Botanicum- one of the most professionally excellent theatres in the L.A. area!

The room was exactly as described with a portable heater and AC when I needed it. My private outhouse with bathroom and shower were nearby and I felt safe even in the middle of night. The “coffee station” with a small refrigerator was perfect since I was staying 3 weeks. Dahabada was a great host and checked with me every couple days to see if I needed anything (water, towels, directions). When I first arrived she was quick to change my pillows and comforter because I had forgotten to mention that I’m allergic to down.

I was always able to find a shady place to sit, be it the bench at the cottage, a nearby deck, or a chair up by the main house. I could watch the fog roll back out in the morning, and see the stunning sunsets in the evening.

The location near the entrance to Topanga State Park made it easy to go hiking and I wish I had had more time to do so.

I would definitely like to stay here again (even when I not remodeling my house). Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.

I can't recommend this beautiful airbnb and Dahabada more. Tucked on the edge of Topanga State Park, there's so much to see and do nearby with Eagle Rock, if you're into nature and animals (saw a couple moose in the morning on a trail that were calmly eating by some trees), and charming restaurants and stores (Topanga Center) if you're more about exploring the uniquely artistic community culture.

The airbnb itself is more beautiful than the photos that don't do them justice. Super peaceful and relaxing with amazing amenities and very very well decorated. The sofa bed is as comfortable as a normal spring mattress and your body just sinks into the queen size bed. I would love to come back in the summer for some night time star gazing on the huge outdoor sofa bed.

I can go on and on about how amazing Dahabada is. She was so so generous and flexible with the sudden changes to our travel plans and checked in via messages to make sure we were well taken care of <3 We will be back soon!

She is excellent, super friendly, she opened her organic garden for me, I was able to pick fresh and organic tomatoes. The cabin is super comfortable, very clean, it has everything you need to cook and spend an excellent stay, the place is everything you dream of. At night you can hear owls. Together with my family, we have spent the dream vacation!

The best Airbnb ever! If you love 100% pure nature & wildlife and want your best rest, stay here! Hearing coyotes cry at Topanga State Park next to the property while watching the stars (we even saw a coyote on the street), falling into a deep sleep in the 1969 Airstream surrounded by the zen sounds of crickets and other animals, and waking up to amazing valley views—what more could you want? We didn’t see the mountain lion, though it had visited before. Trails start right next to the house, and it’s a close ride to the beaches of Santa Monica and Malibu, as well as Universal Studios and Beverly Hills. Dahabada's hospitality was amazing—aloe vera for sunburns and offering her board for surfing the nearby waves. Not to mention her dog, Rosebud, your instant best friend.

I had a wonderful time staying at Dahabada's place. The property is right next to great hiking trails in the lush green hills of Topanga. Coming back after a hike and taking an outdoor shower with a view is a favorite memory. I would recommend this place to lovers of the outdoors. Keep in mind that it’s a cabin, not a hotel room—you might encounter ants and spiders. It was very hot during my stay, so I was grateful for the AC unit. Thank you for an incredibly memorable two days and your hospitality, dear Dahabada! I will for sure come back.

If you are looking for a peaceful getaway with gorgeous mountain views and the perfect amount of California flora, then this cottage in Topanga Canyon is ideal. My young daughters and I needed a change from our usual Jersey Shore vacations, so we headed to California and stayed in Topanga. Dahabada is a Superhost! She checked in on us and offered tips on the best local spots. The cottage is quaint and perfect for decompressing—no noise except chirping birds and frogs at night. It’s high up with views from every window, always hot water for showers, good internet, and a cozy wood stove. My kids and I had a wonderful experience with Dahabada and her cottage!

The experience was magical. Being immersed in Topanga, you get the best of both worlds in LA. You’re in the mountains, literally two minutes from Topanga State Park, and a 12-minute drive from the beach. Dahabada is an amazing host, always responsive and genuinely cool. Perfect for a traveling couple, or even a single man like myself. I had the most delightful stay at this charming retreat. The hospitality was truly exceptional, and the beautiful garden environment was a tranquil oasis. Watching the sun set and dip into the valley between the Topanga mountain range was breathtaking. As night fell, the sky filled with endless stars, making for a magical atmosphere. The sounds of nature rocked me to sleep. My stay in the cute little nook was cozy and memorable. I can't wait to return to this slice of paradise.

This was one of, if not my very best Airbnb experience to date. The views in Topanga are incredible. You wake up to the mountains and sounds of nature, are right next to hiking trails, and are a stone's throw from the great restaurants in Topanga Canyon. Dahabada is a shining star—sweet, generous, and open. Coordinating was easy, and Dahabada was extremely responsive. I came away not only grateful for a wonderful stay but feeling like I have a faraway family and home in Topanga Canyon. Can't recommend highly enough!

In one word: Spectacular. In more than one word: So serene, yet so close to all the excitement of the greater L.A. area. Direct access to miles of hiking trails. Short drive to the beach. Dahabada is the definition of a "super host." Almost immediate response to any issue, with results to match. I can't say enough good things about this place. 100% rating is truly sincere. I would absolutely stay at this place again.
